Everyday Asian/Asian Everyday
Why is this site called Asian Fuzen?
Zen is one thread that ties India, China, Korea and Japan together, it is one thing that they all have in common. Zen started from the teachings of the Buddha in India and his teachings were passed on from disciple to disciple. Zen was transmitted to China from India by a monk named Bodhidharma. Zen teachings then spread from China to Korea and Japan. Soon after its arrival, Zen Buddhism began to have a strong influence on the development of culture in Japan and Korea and it eventually became part of the spiritual and aesthetic foundation of each country. Zen teachings can also be found throughout Southeast Asia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malayasia, and Indonesia. Zen focuses on simplicity, awareness, selflessness and interconnectedness. We all need to be more aware, open to trying new things, new tastes & new flavors, be willing to share with others and be present in the moment. I hope you'll learn a little about Pan Asian Aesthetics, food and flavors, and be willing to try new tastes and textures, and most importantly, be willing to share your knowledge and food with others around you. Welcome to Asian Fuzen. Add a little Asian Fun, Flair & Flavor into your everyday life. |
